Finance Manager

Job Overview

The Finance Manager acts as a strategic partner to the leadership team, ensuring accurate financial reporting, efficient cash flow management, budgeting, forecasting, and maintaining strong financial controls and compliance. This role is vital for enhancing business performance and operational finance, supporting growth through thorough financial planning and insightful decision-making. Oversight includes General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Revenue Accounting, Treasury Coordination, Statutory Compliance, and Finance Transformation initiatives, with a focus on seamless integration between Salesforce Property Management CRM and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation and management of annual budgets, rolling forecasts, long-term financial plans, and cash flow management across all units and properties.
• Track financial performance against plans and provide actionable advice to improve outcomes.
• Implement and oversee financial KPIs, profitability analyses, and performance metrics across assets, units, tenants, and services.
• Conduct monthly business reviews and work with operational leaders to meet financial and commercial targets.
• Ensure rigorous financial governance and compliance with IFRS, UAE VAT, UAE Corporate Tax, and internal policies.
• Develop internal controls, risk management protocols, and maintain audit preparedness within finance operations.
• Drive finance transformation initiatives including ERP optimization, process automation, digitization, and integrating systems.
• Enhance decision-making through financial analytics, dashboards, BI tools, and continuous improvement efforts.
• Lead finance technology efforts including Microsoft Dynamics 365, Salesforce integration, user acceptance tests, and system upgrades.
• Promote a culture of accountability, operational excellence, and continuous enhancement in the finance team.
• Manage financial accounting activities including ledger maintenance, balance sheet reconciliations, fixed assets, intercompany transactions, and timely closures.
• Oversee preparation of management accounts, statutory financial statements, board reporting, and performance analysis to provide accurate financial insights.
• Supervise revenue accounting and accounts receivable operations, including billing, collections, credit risk management, revenue recognition, and working capital optimization.
• Manage treasury functions such as cash flow forecasting, liquidity, banking relationships, funding needs, and compliance with financing agreements.
• Ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements and support tax planning and audit procedures.
• Lead internal, external, and FTA audits, coordinate engagements, implement corrective actions, and ensure a strong control and audit-ready environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
• Preferred professional certifications include ACCA, CA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent.
• Expertise in IFRS, UAE Corporate Tax, and VAT compliance.
• Strong knowledge of financial accounting, consolidation, and reporting.
• Experience with treasury, cash flow, and working capital management.
• Proficient in internal controls, risk management, and audit processes.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance, Salesforce CRM, Hyperion, Power BI, and Power Query.
