Retail Cleaning Associate

We are seeking a Retail Cleaning Associate to ensure a spotless and organized store environment, primarily focusing on floor care operations using equipment such as scrubbers and buffers.

Responsibilities

• Exemplify excellent customer service for both internal teams and customers.
• Foster a positive and respectful store culture by demonstrating honesty and integrity.
• Maintain cleanliness standards across all floors, operating floor care machines with proficiency.
• Ensure all store areas—including sales floor, single queue, associate lounges, backrooms, and restrooms—are orderly and clean.
• Comply with health and safety policies, including restocking essential supplies in public and staff areas.
• Adapt to multiple roles within the store through cross-training in areas such as the backroom, front end, and sales floor to support business demands.
• Provide coverage at the front end as necessary.
• Uphold company's merchandising and signage standards consistently.
• Initiate and participate in store recovery activities throughout the day.
• Follow operational and loss prevention policies to minimize shrinkage.
• Communicate clearly and effectively with management and coworkers.
• Adhere to labor laws and company policies regarding meal and break periods.
• Commit to maintaining a safe working environment through safety awareness.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.

• Physical capability to carry out cleaning tasks and operate floor machinery.

• Capacity to lift heavy objects, with or without accommodation.
• Team player who collaborates well with peers and supervisors.
• Previous experience in retail customer service is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

The starting hourly wage for this role ranges from $13.00 to $13.50, determined by skills, qualifications, and experience.
