Retail Cleaning Associate

About the Role

You will operate cleaning equipment such as scrubbers and buffers and perform a variety of cleaning duties including dust mopping, damp mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, and spot cleaning glass surfaces. The role requires strict adherence to operational, merchandising, and loss prevention guidelines, with cross-training to support multiple store areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Exemplify best practices in customer experience for both internal team members and customers
• Promote a positive and respectful store culture grounded in honesty and integrity
• Maintain the cleanliness and floor care standards through the use of scrubbers, buffers, and other cleaning methods
• Ensure organizational standards and cleanliness across the entire store including sales floor, queue, lounge, backroom, and restrooms
• Follow all health and safety policies, including replenishing necessary items in lounges and restrooms
• Cross-trained to assist in areas like backroom, front end, and sales floor as business needs dictate
• Support front end coverage when required
• Comply with merchandising and signage standards
• Engage in ongoing store recovery efforts throughout the day
• Adhere to loss prevention standards and operational controls to minimize shrinkage
• Communicate effectively and accurately with management and colleagues
• Comply with labor laws and internal policies, including meal and break periods for associates
• Participate actively in maintaining a safe work environment
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Compensation

The starting wage ranges between $12.75 and $13.25 per hour, with actual pay determined by skills, qualifications, and experience.
