Job description
Role Overview
As a Retail Betting Assistant at Paddy Power based in Gort, County Galway, Ireland, you will serve as the friendly face welcoming customers into our retail shops. Full training is provided, so prior betting experience isn't required. What matters most is your proactive attitude and motivation to meet and surpass shop targets while providing excellent customer service in a lively retail betting environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage warmly with every customer and ensure an outstanding retail experience.
- Help customers place bets via betting terminals, phone services, and in-shop transactions.
- Maintain high standards of shop presentation to foster an inviting atmosphere.
- Step up to manage operations during Shop and Deputy Manager absences, ensuring smooth business flow.
- Stay adaptable to changing situations while keeping customer focus paramount.
- Adhere strictly to social responsibility policies and guidelines.
- Promote both online and in-store products and services, including communicating the latest promotions effectively.
