Role Overview
As a Retail Assistant Store Manager, your key responsibility is to create a welcoming, customer-focused shopping environment. You are tasked with exceeding customer service expectations by providing a memorable experience for every shopper. You will be the primary point of contact for customers, representing Spendless Shoes' commitment to excellent service.
Responsibilities
- Embody the Spendless Way daily and apply the 4C's of Customer Care.
- Meet and surpass sales targets and budgets.
- Ensure company merchandising standards are upheld consistently.
- Manage product rotation and presentation effectively.
- Handle administrative duties and implement company procedures.
- Collaborate with the team while demonstrating Spendless’ core values.
Desired Qualities and Experience
- Prior experience in retail, hospitality, or customer service sectors.
- Supervisory experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Competence in cash handling and EFTPOS transactions.
- Knowledge of stock handling, replenishment, and merchandising.
- Familiarity with sales budgets and key performance indicators is preferred.
- Strong customer service aptitude.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, challenging environment.
- Motivated, confident, friendly, and excellent communicator.
- A genuine passion for fashion footwear.
