Key Responsibilities

• Provide courteous and professional assistance to customers by greeting them, helping with product choices, promoting offerings, locating items, supporting purchase decisions, and addressing or redirecting customer concerns as needed.
• Manage assigned sales floor sections and assist with Front End duties when necessary, coordinating with colleagues to ensure comprehensive floor coverage and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of designated sales areas through zoning tasks, relocate featured products to proper display areas, and process merchandise returned from Customer Service or other store sections.
• Stock shelves, complete downstocking responsibilities, apply product protection when required, and set up modular displays including flexible modulars and new shelf caps.
• Ensure a secure, clean, and hazard-free workplace by adhering to company safety policies, completing safety checks, and making sure fixtures and displays are safe and stable.
• Remain adaptable to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed to guarantee smooth store operation and consistent high-quality customer service.

Challenges in the Role

• Effectively handle high workload volumes in a fast-paced environment, especially during overnight hours, by planning and maintaining energy and focus.
• Carry out physical tasks requiring extended standing, bending, and lifting items up to 20 lbs routinely and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
• Perform repetitive duties such as stocking, zoning, and organizing which require attention to detail and consistency to maintain store standards.

Compensation

The minimum hourly wage for this position starts at 16.55 Canadian dollars.
