As the team grows, Zaxbys is welcoming a Restaurant Utility Worker to help maintain the restaurant's cleanliness and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Fulfill all required training mandated by Zax LLC.
• Ensure the restaurant premises are safe, clean, and well-maintained.
• Complete both routine and deep cleaning tasks along with preventive upkeep of the building and equipment.
• Inspect, operate, and test equipment to identify any malfunctions.
• Manage minor repairs including lighting fixes and other basic maintenance duties.
• Carry out pressure washing inside and out of the location as part of deep cleaning operations.
• Understand and apply instructions from equipment manuals and work orders.
• Regularly inspect the grounds, plumbing, electrical fixtures, kitchen appliances, and overall building applying preventative measures.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date maintenance documentation.
• Adhere to the standards and policies as prescribed by Zaxby’s Franchising LLC and Zax LLC.
• Follow strict safety guidelines and proactively report human resources or risk management issues to management.
• Adapt and maintain flexibility to perform duties beyond the typical scope of the position.
• Perform any other assignments as needed to support smooth restaurant operations.

Required Qualifications and Capabilities

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Possess reliable transportation.
• For full-time: be available to work between 32 to 40 hours weekly.
• Flexible availability, covering days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Demonstrate leadership, organizational skills, and ability to collaborate with others effectively.
• Physically able to sit, stand, and walk continuously; occasionally stoop, bend, crouch, or climb ladders.
• Capable of lifting, pushing, pulling, or carrying up to 50 pounds regularly, including overhead lifting.
• Maintain dexterity in hands and wrists for fine tasks.
• Communicate proficiently via speech, reading, and writing.
• Maintain situational awareness and respond to environmental stimuli effectively.
• Work comfortably in varying indoor/outdoor temperatures and possible exposure to food and outdoor allergens.
• Operate potentially hazardous restaurant equipment safely, such as knives and fryers.
