Role Overview
The Restaurant Manager will oversee daily operations at the Subway location in Abbotsford, BC, ensuring smooth functioning and adherence to health and safety standards. The position requires effective staff management, recruitment, supplier negotiations, and participation in marketing initiatives.
Key Duties
- Assess daily restaurant operations and staff performance
- Manage staff recruitment and develop work schedules
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Negotiate with suppliers regarding food and other provisions
- Contribute to the development and execution of marketing plans
- Resolve customer complaints and concerns promptly
Qualifications
- Secondary school diploma or equivalent
- Between 1 and 2 years of relevant experience
Work Environment and Support Programs
