Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist to join our team at BayCare Alliant Hospital, a 48-bed licensed long term acute care specialty facility accredited by The Joint Commission. The hospital offers a multidisciplinary, family-centric caregiving model with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare specialists collaboratively working towards optimized patient recovery.

Shift and Work Details

• Facility: BayCare Health System - Respiratory Care Services
• Location: BayCare Alliant Hospital
• Employment Type: Full-time, Non-exempt
• Shift Hours: 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM (Day shifts)
• Weekend Schedule: Every other weekend
• No On Call required

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care services as per physician orders and hospital protocols, working independently while exercising sound clinical judgment during unsupervised patient interactions.
• Execute both noninvasive and invasive respiratory procedures with minimal supervision.
• Conduct diagnostic tests and deliver emergency and adult critical care respiratory interventions.

Required Certifications and Licenses

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license
• Active NBRC Credential for RRT
• CPR certification
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification obtained within the last six months
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification

Preferred Education

• Technical Respiratory Therapy credential
• Associate's degree in Respiratory Therapy

Experience Requirements

• At least six months of hands-on experience in respiratory therapy
