Resident Engineer - Airport Cargo Facility (Mandarin Speaker)

Job Overview

An international engineering consultancy seeks a Resident Engineer to oversee the construction of an airport cargo facility in Doha, Qatar. Serving client interests, the incumbent will supervise construction activities to ensure compliance with contractual agreements related to design specifications and build quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and supervise construction works to guarantee adherence to design and quality standards dictated by contracts.
• Liaise with stakeholders to ensure project milestones and compliance requirements are met throughout the build phase.

Candidate Requirements

• Possess a degree in Engineering or Construction discipline.
• Hold an additional qualification in project management.
• Demonstrate a minimum of 15 years professional experience working on sizable and complex building projects, with preference for those involving cargo facilities.
• Have prior experience in aviation-related projects.
• Be fully fluent in both Mandarin and English languages.
