Job description
Overview
We are seeking a seasoned PMO Lead to join a reputable contractor engaged in road and infrastructure projects in Qatar. This role is pivotal for designing and implementing PMO frameworks, facilitating executive decisions, and enhancing consistency, performance, and ongoing improvements across various construction initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and govern program management office standards and processes.
- Provide transparency and oversight at the portfolio level.
- Support executive leadership with comprehensive, data-driven reports.
- Drive standardization and continuous improvement in project delivery and performance.
- Balance executive reporting demands with engineering execution and business objectives.
Candidate Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or Business Administration.
- Between 10 and 15 years of experience in construction or infrastructure projects, with at least 5 years in PMO or program management roles.
- Demonstrated ability to oversee extensive or multiple project portfolios, ideally with experience in Qatar or the Middle East market.
- Preferred exposure to mega projects, engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contracts, and dealings with government or quasi-government clients.
