Reservation Manager

Position Overview

U-Haul seeks a Reservation Manager to join our dynamic team in Ottawa, Ontario. This role requires a candidate who thrives in a fast-paced, ever-changing setting and is committed to delivering exceptional customer service. Reporting to the Traffic Control Manager, you will primarily facilitate reservation coordination and manage equipment distribution to support customers, field teams, and U-Haul dealerships.

Work Schedule

Candidates should be available to work either morning shifts from 7 AM to 1 PM or evening shifts from 1 PM to 7 PM. Bilingualism in English and French is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle inbound and outbound customer calls efficiently.
• Provide support to field personnel and dealership partners by managing and placing equipment reservations, ensuring proper allocation based on customer demand and productivity to maintain balanced regional inventory.
• Analyze reports to optimize equipment placement, manage customer reservations, and uphold contract accuracy.
• Assist with the oversight and management of the U-Box portable storage product.

Required Qualifications

• Completion of high school diploma or equivalent education.
• Familiarity with office technology, including multiline telephony systems, Word processing, and email communication, alongside professional phone etiquette.
• Effective skills in customer service, time management, and multitasking to handle varying tasks reliably.
