Job Overview

We are looking for a dedicated and professional Reservation Agent to become part of our reservations team. This role entails managing room booking inquiries and processing reservations across multiple communication platforms such as telephone, email, and online channels. Excellent communication, meticulous attention to detail, and personalized service delivery are essential to help meet hotel targets for revenue and occupancy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Efficiently manage room reservation inquiries, bookings, amendments, and cancellations.
  • Provide accurate information regarding room availability, pricing, special packages, and hotel amenities.
  • Maintain precise guest and reservation records within the Property Management System (PMS) or booking platform.
  • Respond promptly and courteously to customer calls, emails, and digital booking requests.
  • Promote upgrades of room categories, packages, and additional hotel services to enhance revenue.
  • Collaborate closely with Front Office, Sales, Housekeeping, and other departments for seamless guest service.
  • Adhere to hotel reservation policies and strive to meet departmental goals regarding occupancy, revenue, and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications and Skills

  • At least one year of experience in Front Office, Reservations, or Sales, ideally within the hospitality sector.
  • Strong command of the English language; additional languages are advantageous.
  • Exemplary telephone etiquette paired with effective written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Property Management Systems such as Opera and Microsoft Office tools.
  • Detail-focused with an aptitude for juggling multiple tasks in a busy work environment.
  • Effective problem-solving capabilities and independent decision-making skills.
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Customer-centric approach and enthusiasm for delivering outstanding service.
  • Ability to work well in team settings and strong organizational aptitude.
