Job description
Role Overview
The Repair and Tool Technician is tasked with assessing and fixing small engines, outdoor power equipment, and handheld electric devices. This role supports both retail Tool Rental Centers and dedicated repair facilities to ensure equipment functionality and reliability.
Key Duties
- Diagnose and carry out repairs on various tools and equipment.
- Recommend suitable equipment to customers based on their needs.
- Maintain and manage equipment within the Tool Rental department.
- At retail locations, assist customers by preparing rental contracts and invoices, verifying equipment function, and, when necessary, demonstrating proper tool usage.
- In repair centers, handle the servicing of units, confirming the quality of repairs, cleaning equipment, and preparing tools for return to respective stores.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all tools and uphold the integrity of the tool inventory through regular maintenance and repairs.
