About ALS and the Opportunity
Join ALS, a global leader leveraging scientific testing and data analytics to foster a healthier world. We are currently seeking a flexible and professional individual to cover holiday relief driving duties at our Portlaoise location. This role is contract-based with no guaranteed minimum hours, with assignments dictated by operational needs and staff absences, primarily Monday through Friday.
Role Responsibilities
- Operate vehicle routes to customer sites for the collection of food and water samples destined for laboratory testing in Clonmel.
- Ensure samples are transported promptly and accurately to our facilities.
- Maintain a professional demeanor representing ALS during all client interactions when collecting samples.

Qualifications and Skills Required
- Possession of a full, clean B category driving license is mandatory.
- Strong time management abilities coupled with excellent communication skills.
Compensation and Working Details
This role offers an hourly wage of 14.29. Typical working times are Monday to Friday, with flexibility depending on operational demand. The contract is relief-based with no fixed minimum hours.
