Relationship Manager

Overview

Policybazaar Insurance Brokers Private Limited is seeking a Relationship Manager to spearhead field sales operations within the insurance sector. This role focuses on customer acquisition, needs-based insurance solutions, sales achievement, and client relationship management in Chennai, Tamil Nadu.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Meet defined sales targets measured by Annualized Premium (ANP) and total case count.
• Generate new business leads through organic market exploration, referrals, and existing client base follow-up.
• Perform regular client interactions to assess requirements and present appropriate insurance products.
• Apply a structured selling approach to deliver need-based insurance recommendations.
• Enhance revenue by upselling and cross-selling to current customers.
• Address post-sale inquiries and facilitate timely policy delivery.
• Maintain continual engagement with clients to nurture strong and lasting relationships.
• Collaborate closely with supervisors to devise and implement effective business plans.
• Develop, assess, and refine sales forecasting and innovative strategy planning.
• Manage and expand the customer database for the allotted territory.
• Adhere to Information Security Management System (ISMS) protocols to protect customer and corporate information.

Candidate Requirements

• Possession of a valid driving license and ownership of a bike is mandatory.
• Proficiency in the regional language is required.
• Minimum one year of experience in any banking or insurance sales role is essential.
• Exceptional communication skills and ability to build networks effectively.
