As a Registered Nurse here, you will be devoted to providing top-tier clinical leadership while ensuring the highest standards of resident care are upheld. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Primary Nursing Care Model to deliver holistic, personalized care centered around residents, fostering a culture of excellence.
- Conduct thorough nursing assessments and implement interventions autonomously and with the healthcare team.
- Build and maintain strong, caring relationships with residents, attending to their needs attentively.
- Offer leadership and support to care staff and other team members.
- Commit to ongoing personal and professional development.
- Demonstrate flexibility by working rostered shifts as required.
Essential Qualifications and Attributes
- Registration with the Nursing Council of New Zealand (NCNZ) as a Registered Nurse.
- Possession of a current NCNZ practicing certificate.
- Strong passion for providing quality care and regard for residents and their whānau/families.
- Knowledge of the aged care sector and its unique challenges.
- Capability to make autonomous, critical decisions regarding resident care.
- A positive, proactive attitude willing to go above and beyond in connecting with residents and their families.
- Self-motivated with initiative and upholds professional integrity.
- Respectful of resident confidentiality.
