Job description
Overview
Join Oceania at Redwood Village as a Registered Nurse, where you will practice at full scope within a nurse-led service. Your clinical skills and judgment will be essential in delivering comprehensive care and support to residents, coordinating their daily care, and fostering strong relationships with them and their families.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate residents' daily care requirements while motivating and supporting care staff.
- Conduct thorough nursing assessments and provide interventions independently and collaboratively.
- Exercise autonomy in making critical decisions about resident care.
- Develop trusting connections with residents, their families, and allied health professionals in the community.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to team members and care staff.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Possession of a valid current New Zealand Annual Practising Certificate.
- A strong dedication to delivering outstanding service.
- Experience with clinical information systems.
- InterRai experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Effective time management abilities.
- Ability to coach and mentor colleagues.
- Flexibility to work on a rostered shift system including weekends and nights.
Additional Information
- Hourly pay ranges from NZD 37.38 to 53.22, depending on experience.
- Rotating fortnightly roster includes weekends and night shifts.
