About the Role

Pynenburg & Collins Architects Ltd invites an experienced Registered Architect to join their Wellington-based team to engage in technically intricate and meaningful architectural projects. This role offers the chance to contribute to sectors such as science, research, education, and remote environments where both creativity and technical precision are essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and actively participate in project deliveries across different development phases.
• Create and review detailed technical documents and architectural drawings.
• Collaborate and coordinate effectively with consultants, clients, and other project stakeholders.
• Ensure projects meet quality standards throughout their lifecycle.
• Provide insight into design concepts, address technical challenges, and assist with planning project execution.
• Mentor and support junior architects and those new to the profession.
• Develop strong, trustworthy relationships with clients and project teams.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Registered Architect status recognized in New Zealand.
• Demonstrated technical expertise and competence in documentation.
• Proven experience managing projects through various delivery stages.
• Proficiency in Revit software as well as familiarity with other industry-standard tools.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to manage diverse stakeholders.
• A cooperative and solution-oriented approach to work.
• Enthusiasm for tackling technically demanding architectural projects.
