Role Overview

This full-time, in-person Architect position located in Chandigarh involves creating and advancing architectural concepts and detailed designs for diverse residential and commercial developments. Duties encompass ensuring adherence to applicable local codes and regulations, producing drawings and 3D renderings, coordinating with consultants and contractors, engaging in client discussions, and supporting studies related to urban planning and feasibility. The Architect will monitor project development, collaborate within internal teams to address design and technical issues, and maintain comprehensive documentation throughout project stages. Participation in design assessments and suggesting innovative approaches that reflect Phoenix Design Studio's standards and client needs are integral responsibilities.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Robust knowledge of architecture and design principles with a background in residential and commercial projects.
• Competence in integrating design elements and systems within architectural projects ensuring coherence and practical functionality.
• Experience or understanding of project management practices including planning, stakeholder coordination, and tracking deadlines and deliverables.
• Familiarity or exposure to software development concepts relevant to design tools or their integration is advantageous.
• Proficient use of industry-standard architectural and drafting software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or comparable applications.
• A bachelor's degree or higher in Architecture from a certified institution, with professional registration or licensure being a preferred asset.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to thrive in multidisciplinary work environments.
• Strong attention to detail, adept problem-solving skills, and an impressive portfolio showcasing both innovative and practical design achievements.
