About the Role
A prominent Big-4-style professional services firm is expanding its India center and collaborating with Flexiple to appoint a Recruitment Specialist. This role is pivotal in managing lateral hiring efforts specifically for the audit and assurance division. The center aims to enlarge its audit team by approximately 60 professionals over the year, primarily recruiting experienced candidates with 2 to 6 years in audit roles.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage requisition intake and collaborate closely with audit and assurance leaders to align job descriptions with their needs.
- Source lateral candidates using job boards, professional referrals, and proactive outreach to qualified audit practitioners.
- Evaluate candidates for technical suitability, notice period availability, and compensation expectations before arranging partner interviews.
- Maintain an up-to-date and transparent applicant tracking pipeline accessible to practice leads without requiring status updates.
Work Pace and Coordination
You will handle between 10 to 15 active requisitions simultaneously, with hiring activity peaking twice yearly and steady recruitment throughout the remainder of the year. Coordinating interview schedules across partners who frequently travel requires disciplined time management alongside strong sourcing capabilities.
Candidate Profile
- Possess 2 to 5 years of recruitment experience, ideally including professional services or audit/accounting domain hiring.
- Proven ability to handle a large volume of requisitions efficiently without compromising the quality and accuracy of candidate pipelines.
- Competence in interpreting technical audit job descriptions and swiftly assessing candidate fit through targeted questions.
Location and Work Setup
The position is based in Bengaluru, Gurugram, Mumbai, or remote within India, with occasional onsite presence required during high-volume lateral hiring periods.
Selection Process

- Sourcing and screening exercise focused on a current audit requisition.
- Interview with two audit practice leaders.
