Competitive Intelligence Analyst

Role Overview

A fast-growing, venture-capital-backed SaaS firm is expanding its founding India team and seeks a Competitive Intelligence Analyst to bridge the knowledge gap on competitors' pricing and product strategies. You will autonomously monitor competitor activities, gather insights from sales win or loss analyses, and convert these into actionable battlecards that sales teams actively reference during calls.

Key Responsibilities

• Track and analyze competitors’ product changes and pricing developments.
• Conduct structured debrief discussions with sales representatives post-win or loss scenarios.
• Develop and maintain clear, concise battlecards and teardown presentations for sales enablement.
• Determine priority areas for intelligence gathering and reporting based on business needs.
• Deliver tangible outputs on a weekly basis to support sales effectiveness rather than aiming for perfect but delayed materials.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• 3 to 7 years of experience in competitive intelligence, product marketing, or sales enablement roles, preferably within the SaaS industry.
• Proficiency in conducting structured interviews to derive insightful narratives from sales data.
• Proven track record creating battlecards or teardown decks that sales teams effectively utilize.
• Strong written communication skills and sound judgment in determining valuable intelligence focus areas.
• Ability to prioritize quick delivery of useful resources over delayed refinement.

This position is remote-friendly and open to applicants based in Bengaluru, Mumbai, Delhi NCR, Hyderabad, Pune, or anywhere in India working remotely.
