About the Role
Global Professional Consultants (GPC) is a specialized recruitment firm based in Dublin with over 25 years of expertise in Ireland, the UK, and international markets. We are currently seeking a Recruitment Consultant to join our energetic team located in Sandyford, Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown.
This position is tailored for a motivated, confident individual who excels in a fast-moving, target-oriented setting. It is especially suitable for candidates coming from people-facing roles such as hospitality, education, personal training, sales, or recruitment coordination, looking to advance their career in recruitment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the entire 360-degree recruitment cycle.
- Drive business growth by cultivating new and existing client relationships.
- Independently manage and maintain a client database.
- Source and conduct interviews with prospective candidates.
- Develop detailed job specifications that accurately reflect client requirements.
- Benefit from comprehensive training and mentoring provided by senior consultants and the Managing Director.
Qualifications & Experience
- A degree is preferred or equivalent practical experience.
- At least one year of experience in an office or recruitment setting.
- Prior exposure to people-centric roles such as sales, recruitment coordination, hospitality, education, or personal training is highly advantageous.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Comfortable and confident using the telephone, including making cold calls.
- Highly organized, self-driven, outcome-focused, and detail-oriented.
- A strong sense of urgency and proactivity in achieving results.
Compensation and Benefits
- Competitive base salary with uncapped commission; on-target earnings (OTE) ranging from €40,000 to €60,000 plus.
