Planner

Role Overview

A Planner is needed to join a leading Tier 1 Main Contractor's team located in North Dublin. The ideal candidate will bring experience from data centre or pharmaceutical construction sectors to support programme management across various projects. This position involves direct reporting to the Planning Manager and contributes to an expanding planning division with a strong upcoming project pipeline.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, update, and maintain detailed project schedules for diverse construction initiatives.
• Track project progress versus planned timelines, promptly identifying and communicating risks or delays.
• Coordinate closely with site staff, subcontractors, and design teams to collect necessary scheduling data.
• Generate comprehensive programme reports and updates for both project teams and senior leadership.
• Assist in preparing and analyzing tender-related schedules.
• Contribute to rescheduling and recovery plan development when projects face challenges.

Candidate Requirements

• Possession of a degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Essential prior experience working within the data centre or pharmaceutical construction sectors.
• Proficiency in planning tools such as Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
• Excellent analytical capabilities coupled with strong communication skills.

Salary and Benefits

• Competitive salary range of €80,000 to €90,000 annually, complemented by a benefits package.
