Job Overview
We are seeking a Recruitment Consultant to be based in the UAE, specifically in Abu Dhabi or Dubai. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of recruitment experience within the UAE market.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and understand the unique recruitment requirements of each client or job opening to deliver a customized recruitment strategy.
- Maintain regular communication with clients to ensure their expectations are consistently met throughout the hiring process.
- Proactively identify and source candidates using various platforms including job boards, LinkedIn, social media, networking, and internal databases.
- Utilize Boolean search methods, recruitment software, and headhunting strategies to locate both passive and active candidates.
- Develop and sustain a pipeline of potential candidates for current and prospective job vacancies.
- Assess CVs and applications to confirm compatibility with client specifications.
- Conduct initial candidate screening via phone or video calls to evaluate qualifications, skills, and cultural alignment.
- Communicate comprehensive job details and organizational context to candidates.
- Manage the recruitment process end-to-end, including interview scheduling and communication coordination between clients and candidates.
- Ensure prompt follow-up communications with all parties after interviews and during offer stages.
- Facilitate negotiation discussions to align candidate expectations with client offers.
- Oversee offer acceptance processes and establish employment details such as start dates and benefits.
- Maintain an updated candidate database for ongoing and future recruitment needs.
- Engage regularly with candidates in the database to share new opportunities and nurture long-term relationships.
- Follow up with clients and new hires post-placement to ensure satisfaction and address any initial issues.
- Provide support for a seamless transition of the candidate into their new role.
Qualifications and Skills
- Possess a degree in business, human resources, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated recruitment experience, preferably within a similar sector.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with clients and candidates.
- Strong negotiation capabilities regarding salaries, benefits, and employment terms.
- Proficient problem-solving skills to navigate recruitment challenges creatively.
- Effective organizational and time management skills to handle multiple vacancies simultaneously.
- Experienced in Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with recruitment software and tools.
