About the Company
A leading accountancy firm based in Belfast, recently acquired by a larger group, is expanding its operations. This re-branding and integration into a bigger group has broadened their market presence, allowing them to secure more clients across the UK, Northern Ireland, and the Republic of Ireland.
Role Overview
The R&D Financial Analyst will be responsible for gathering and analyzing client financial data to support Research & Development tax claims. The role involves preparing claim cost schedules, performing reconciliations, and ensuring accuracy across multiple client portfolios within agreed deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Compile and scrutinize financial data from clients specifically for R&D tax credit submissions.
- Create and validate detailed cost schedules supporting these claims.
- Reconcile financial figures, identifying and addressing any discrepancies or missing information.
- Manage multiple client accounts simultaneously, ensuring punctual and precise task completion.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Professional experience in finance, accounting, auditing, taxation, or specifically R&D tax relief.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong skills in financial data analysis.
- Excellent attention to detail paired with robust organizational capabilities.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to solve problems efficiently.
