Role Summary

We seek a diligent and proactive Optical Metrology and Optical Testing engineer to facilitate the setup and scale-up of our next-generation semiconductor manufacturing line. This role involves close cooperation across engineering and operational departments to ensure seamless technology transfer from R&D to pilot and high-volume manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess and impart training on existing R&D processes for effective transition to pilot production lines.
  • Develop detailed checklists to guarantee thorough and successful transfer of processing activities and materials.
  • Work collaboratively with R&D, production process, integration, operations, and hardware teams to complete all transfer objectives within scheduled timelines supporting initiation of high-volume manufacturing (HVM).
  • Monitor and coordinate schedules, track deliverables, and identify risks associated with technology transfer and production milestones.
  • Organize and facilitate training sessions in partnership with R&D transfer engineers.
  • Assist in qualifications of Optical Metrology and Optical Testing equipment and processes at HVM sites.

Essential Qualifications

  • Comprehensive knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes, particularly involving Optical Metrology and Optical Testing.
  • Proven ability to work effectively across multiple time zones and coordinate with remote teams, ensuring on-site factory execution.
  • Highly disciplined with strong capability to monitor progress and ensure completion of deliverables.
  • Willingness and flexibility to travel extensively (up to 50%) between South East Asia and the USA.
  • Relevant experience level will be considered for advancement to Senior or Principal roles.

  • Employment Type: Full-time, Regular employee / Assignee status.
  • Work Location: Singapore (North site).
  • Travel Requirement: Approximately 50% travel expected.
  • Relocation support is not provided.
