Job description

About the Role

We are actively seeking motivated individuals for over 500 different professions across Germany, covering both seasoned professionals and career starters. We provide extensive entry-level and continuing education opportunities. Currently, we invite applications for the position of Rail Track Worker / Auxiliary Vehicle Operator for DB InfraGO AG based in Freilassing or Rosenheim.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and control rail maintenance vehicles within infrastructure upkeep operations.
  • Ensure maintenance activities are carried out effectively to meet demands and requirements.
  • During winter months, collaborate with the team to manage snow clearance machinery.
  • Support construction sites by handling transportation of materials, tools, and personnel using specialized vehicles.
  • Perform duties outdoors on railway infrastructure, including working during weekends, nights, and public holidays.

Candidate Profile

  • Completed training as a locomotive driver, preferably supplemented by technical or industrial vocational education.
  • Possess either a Class 3 railway vehicle operator license or a locomotive driver’s license.
  • Comfortable working night shifts and weekends.
  • Demonstrate strong dedication, resilience, and teamwork abilities.
  • Meet medical and regulatory requirements as per the locomotive driver license regulations.
  • Willingness to undertake operational maintenance tasks on tracks and switches.
