Job description

Overview

This position serves as a key testing specialist within the laboratory, assisting existing technicians and delivering testing services that support production processes and product certification. The role also involves managing documentation related to testing outcomes, procedural guidelines, and calibration of tools and equipment.

Key Duties

  • Deliver precise and timely test results while aiding production with in-process inspections.
  • Keep quality documentation and maintain procedural standards.
  • Conduct standard laboratory testing when necessary.
  • Verify physical properties for customers and issue certificates of compliance.
  • Maintain calibration and repair records and perform equipment/tool calibrations.
  • Manage lab inventory, particularly consumable testing materials.
  • Evaluate material conformance to required specifications.
  • Perform additional assignments as required.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent educational background; relevant experience may substitute for formal education.
  • At least one year of experience in a manufacturing setting.
  • Familiarity with data analysis and database software applications.
  • Experience working with quality control and laboratory testing instruments.
