Job description
Position Overview
We are seeking a Quality Manager specializing in Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) and Management Review to join our New Zealand Quality Systems Central Services team. This role is pivotal in leading and managing essential quality feedback and review processes, ensuring smooth and effective operation of CAPA and Management Review functions within the Quality Management System (QMS).
Key Duties
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the CAPA processes across New Zealand.
- Organize and execute Management Review meetings and oversee the implementation of resulting actions.
- Track and evaluate QMS performance metrics, including risks, trends, and areas for improvement.
- Deliver clear, insightful reports and quality system recommendations to leadership.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders to resolve quality issues and advance corrective actions.
- Assist with international sales and distribution quality activities.
- Offer backup support for audit and distribution quality responsibilities within the team.
Candidate Profile
- Possesses 4 to 6 years of experience in medical device manufacturing or a similarly regulated industry.
- Demonstrates 4 to 6 years of hands-on experience working with Quality Management Systems.
- Well-versed in CAPA, Management Review, and related quality system methodologies.
- Skilled in analyzing quality data to detect patterns, risks, and identify opportunities for enhancement.
- Excellent written and oral communication abilities.
- Strong ability to engage and influence stakeholders effectively.
- Knowledgeable about relevant regulatory standards and Quality Management expectations.
- Capable of managing multiple priorities and ensuring timely completion of quality initiatives.
- Adopts a cooperative and pragmatic approach to interdepartmental collaboration and management interactions.
