Quality Engineer

Overview

We are looking for an experienced Quality Engineer specialized in the banking sector with strong skills in using Jira. The role involves guaranteeing the excellence of digital banking products by performing detailed testing and thorough evaluation. The ideal candidate will possess sharp attention to detail, analytical prowess, and an in-depth knowledge of banking channel processes such as Mobile and Internet Banking.

Responsibilities

• Execute detailed testing on digital banking platforms to detect defects and suggest enhancements.
• Create and implement test plans, cases, and scripts to verify software functionality.
• Work closely with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to fully comprehend requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Use Jira effectively to document, prioritize, and track test cases, defects, and project-related tasks.
• Conduct regression testing to confirm software stability across updates and releases.
• Interpret test outcomes, identify patterns, and deliver comprehensive reports covering test coverage, defects, and overall quality.
• Engage actively in Agile rituals, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and contribute to refining testing techniques and standards.

Requirements

• Fluency in Arabic as a bilingual speaker.
• At least six years of experience in the role of Quality Analyst or Software Test Engineer specifically within digital banking services.
• Strong foundational knowledge of banking workflows and procedures.
• Advanced proficiency in Jira for managing tests and defects.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the capability to analyze issues and suggest efficient remedies.
• Comprehensive understanding of Agile frameworks and their practical application.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities enabling effective collaboration across interdisciplinary teams.
