Quality Analyst - Banking

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Quality Analyst specialized in the banking sector with strong skills in managing Jira for quality assurance tasks. The role focuses on verifying the quality standards of digital banking platforms such as mobile and internet banking through detailed inspections and testing procedures. A keen analytical mindset and process knowledge related to digital banking channels are essential for this position.

Responsibilities

• Execute end-to-end testing on digital banking applications to uncover defects and suggest improvements.
• Create and implement detailed testing plans, including test cases and scripts that validate software functionality.
• Work alongside business analysts, software developers, and other stakeholders to grasp the complete requirements, acceptance standards, and user stories.
• Employ Jira for efficient tracking, prioritizing, and administration of testing cases, bugs, and project workflows.
• Conduct regression testing to maintain software quality across releases and updates.
• Evaluate test outcomes, detect patterns, and generate comprehensive reports covering test coverage, defect metrics, and software quality insights.
• Engage actively in Agile development rituals such as sprint planning, daily scrums, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Identify and suggest enhancements to testing processes and methodologies to raise overall quality standards.

Requirements

• Fluency in Arabic is mandatory.
• A minimum of six years' experience as a Quality Analyst or Software Test Engineer focusing on digital banking services.
• Comprehensive knowledge of banking workflows and operational processes.
• Proficient in using Jira for test and issue management.
• Strong problem-solving abilities with excellent analytical aptitude to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Solid grounding in Agile frameworks and effective communication skills to collaborate across teams.
