Job description
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Quality Control Inspector specializing in Product Quality Control to join our team at a Dubai facility located at Techno Park, Sheikh Zayed Road. This role demands a strong mechanical QC background, with responsibilities encompassing a range of inspection and quality management activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately interpret and analyze technical drawings, specifications, and procedural documents.
- Identify and utilize appropriate monitoring and measuring instruments to verify product compliance.
- Conduct thorough inspections including visual and dimensional checks, employing mechanical inspection tools.
- Ensure all operational processes and associated records meet completeness standards.
- Maintain detailed inspection records, logs, and calibration data.
- Generate non-conformance reports for any products, components, assemblies, or subassemblies failing to meet quality standards.
- Promote and drive a strong quality-oriented culture within the plant environment.
- Collaborate closely with site quality teams and manufacturing engineers on root cause analyses, corrective measures, and ongoing process improvements.
- Work with enterprise quality system databases such as SAP, Oracle BHOS, and Agility.
- Participate in quality audits, material review boards, Kaizen events, and root cause analysis sessions as required.
- Program or calibrate inspection equipment when necessary to maintain accuracy.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in Mechanical Quality Control.
- Experience or familiarity with Electrical QC and Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) protocols is advantageous.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and technical procedures.
- Strong communication skills and ability to foster a positive, inclusive workplace.
- Skilled in using software tools including SAP, Microsoft Outlook, and Excel.
- Educational requirement: High School Diploma or equivalent with over 5 years of relevant work experience.
- Industrial background preferred in oilfield services and equipment sectors.
- Advanced understanding of testing, manufacturing processes, and product specifications.
- Highly capable in executing precise testing, inspection, and examination techniques and analyzing results.
Additional Information
- Work schedule is based on a day shift at the Dubai Distribution Center (DC).
- This position is situated within the Quality Control area or warehouse environment.
