Job Overview

We seek an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team, ideally with a background in the fintech sector, specifically focusing on billing and payment systems. The ideal candidate must thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Primary Responsibilities

• Create and implement comprehensive test plans and test cases targeting systems and applications.
• Perform API testing to verify response accuracy and data integrity.
• Develop and sustain automated test scripts to enhance testing efficiency.
• Construct SQL queries to audit and confirm accuracy within databases.
• Keep detailed records of defects and collaborate with developers to address issues.
• Work alongside technical teams to ensure product quality before deployment.

Qualifications and Skill Set

• In-depth knowledge of backend service and API testing methodologies.
• Proficient in generating SQL queries for data validation purposes.
• Practical experience in automation testing involving backend services and API contracts.
• Experience in working with SOAP, XML web services, and integrating third-party systems.
• Working understanding and domain knowledge in Finance.
• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken, to facilitate clear communication.
• Certification in ISTQB Foundation Level is desirable.
• ISTQB Test Analyst certification is considered a plus.

Experience Requirement

Candidates should possess between 5 and 8 years of relevant industry experience.
