About the Company
Our client is a global fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) manufacturer located in County Kildare, Ireland. They are currently seeking a skilled QC Technician to join their team. This role offers an excellent chance for individuals based in Kildare or the Midlands to advance their careers within a busy production environment manufacturing a variety of products. Please note that visa sponsorship or work permit support is not available for this position.
Job Description and Responsibilities
- Conduct laboratory tests on incoming raw materials, production samples, and finished goods.
- Prepare standards to compare against samples from production.
- Gather, assess, and maintain Certificates of Analysis along with pertinent documentation.
- Perform routine cleaning and calibration of laboratory instruments to ensure accuracy.
- Carry out standard routine tests on the company's product line.
- Comply strictly with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), safety standards, and testing protocols.
- Execute additional laboratory duties as needed within the scope of operations.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum two years of experience in a QC technician role or similar laboratory environment.
- A relevant third-level (post-secondary) qualification related to the role.
- Effective communication skills and proficiency with computer applications.
