About the Role

An established accounting firm based in Cavan is expanding and looking to hire a Qualified Accountant. This full-time position involves working four days per week, totaling 34 hours. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee a portfolio of clients spanning various industries.
• Prepare accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and companies.
• Complete income tax and corporation tax returns accurately.
• Offer financial advice and relevant information to clients.
• Engage directly with clients through meetings.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Support clients in fulfilling regulatory and compliance obligations.
• Provide leadership and mentoring to junior team members.
• Report directly to senior partners within the firm.

Candidate Requirements

• Possession of a professional qualification from an accredited accountancy body.
• Experience in practice environments, including overseeing junior staff.
• Highly driven with the ability to meet tight deadlines effectively.
• Strong confidence and clear communication skills.
• Demonstrated technical proficiency in accounting.
• A proactive, positive attitude and ability to collaborate well within a team.

Compensation and Benefits

• Annual salary ranging from €45,000 to €53,000 based on a four-day workweek.
