About the Role
This position is ideal for an ambitious accounting professional eager to engage with a variety of tasks using modern technology and seeking opportunities for growth. You will join a medium-sized, rapidly expanding Chartered Accountancy practice located in South Dublin, known for its supportive and friendly work environment where no two workdays are identical.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and prepare financial accounts across a varied client portfolio.
- Lead and contribute to audit engagements, including group consolidation audits under FRS 102 and some IFRS standards for larger clients.
- Support corporate and income tax compliance activities, with full training provided as needed.
- Serve as a primary contact for clients, fostering strong, professional relationships.
- Effectively prioritize and manage diverse tasks within a dynamic team setting.
Qualifications and Skills
- Partially or fully qualified with ACCA, ACA, CPA or an equivalent accounting qualification.
- Demonstrated experience in an Irish accounting practice environment.
- Strong grasp of fundamental accounting principles and experience with audit processes, including group and consolidation work.
- Basic understanding of taxation is advantageous; however, training will be offered.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational capabilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact directly with clients.
- Proficient with IT tools, especially Microsoft Excel.
- A proactive attitude with a commitment to continuous learning and professional growth.
Compensation and Benefits
- Annual salary ranging between €45,000 and €62,000, aligned with experience.
