Lab Technician

Key Responsibilities

• Execute routine and specialized laboratory tests, and provide support across diagnostic lab sections when needed.
• Perform laboratory technical tasks within designated turnaround times following Shalina Diagnostics' SOPs and safety protocols.
• Maintain accurate and detailed laboratory records to ensure compliance with good laboratory practices.
• Offer excellent technical support as part of the healthcare team to facilitate effective patient care delivery.
• Ensure all equipment under your responsibility is kept in compliance with company standards and pertinent regulations.
• Carry out internal quality control procedures to monitor and improve technical outputs.
• Participate in research activities, assess new laboratory techniques, and support laboratory audits.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma, Certificate, or Degree in Medical Laboratory Science.
• Minimum of 2.2 years professional experience.
• Current good standing with the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC).
