Job description
Role Overview
This position requires an expert with comprehensive hands-on experience in PROS CPQ solutions, capable of guiding end-to-end implementations and integrating pricing and quoting applications within client ecosystems.
Technical and Behavioral Competencies
- A minimum of 8 years' experience overall with PROS CPQ.
- Proficient use of PROS SMART CPQ and its ecosystem, with at least two complete PROS CPQ deployments.
- Practical skills in MACRO coding and core Java programming.
- Fluency in formulating Business Rules, Constraints, Product Links, and Bundles setup.
- Sound knowledge of the Quote to Cash lifecycle.
- Experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud platforms, including Salesforce and Dynamics CRM integration with PROS.
- Exposure to other CPQ platforms is beneficial.
- Relevant PROS certifications such as PPSS Smart CPQ, Quoting 203 Smart CPQ, Quoting 310 Quote Modelling, and Quoting 320 Product Portfolio Design.
Key Responsibilities
- Recommend diverse solutions utilizing native PROS CPQ features.
- Experience with Classic CPQ components: Product Catalog, Business Properties, Guided Selling, and Configuration Process.
- Collaborate with business analysts on user story detailing and effort estimation.
- Create comprehensive technical designs and architectural plans for PROS Pricing controls tailored per client.
- Lead the integration of PROS Pricing within client technology frameworks.
- Provide guidance on PROS web API usage to customer integration teams.
- Develop data exchange interfaces between PROS CPQ and Microsoft Dynamics CRM.
- Implement functionalities related to Pricing and Analytics using the PROS Pricing Solution.
- Assist with adapting to functional or technical changes through configuration and customization efforts.
- Define integration mappings and perform integration activities with external applications.
- Coordinate with PROS Product team to resolve product-related issues.
- Provide both high-level and detailed implementation estimates.
