Job Overview and Key Duties

This position calls for a skilled professional to manage Denodo platform operations including installation, configuration, upgrades, patching, and ongoing maintenance for both Solution Manager and Virtual DataPort (VDP) components. The candidate will be responsible for system health oversight, ensuring optimal performance, service reliability, and availability through appropriate monitoring tools and alert configurations.

Close collaboration with DevOps teams is required to facilitate seamless code migration and deployment of Denodo across various environments. The role also requires hands-on management of Denodo instances hosted on AWS, specifically leveraging EC2 infrastructure, Linux operating systems, and shell scripting capabilities.

Essential Knowledge and Operational Responsibilities

• Deep understanding of Denodo platform architecture to effectively recommend utilization of available tools and components.
• Maintain and support Data Governance frameworks within Denodo to ensure compliance and data integrity.
• Implement and manage pass-through mechanisms, comprehending their effects on query execution and data retrieval processes.
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to platform function, connectivity, system performance, deployment processes, and routine operations.
• Engage with application, data, cloud, and DevOps teams to maintain a secure and stable operational environment for Denodo services.

Mandatory Expertise
