About the Role

As a Proposal Engineering Intern in Doha for 2026, you will gain invaluable experience by supporting real engineering projects within a team-oriented professional environment. This is an ideal opportunity for undergraduate or graduate students specializing in electrical engineering, especially those with knowledge of electrical distribution systems and relay protection.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze customer inquiries, Requests for Quotations (RFQs), Requests for Proposals (RFPs), and tender documents to support bid preparations.
- Help prepare technical offers including designs, specifications, and formal documentation.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams comprising engineering, procurement, project management, commercial, and logistics personnel.
- Assist in creating compliance matrices, technical submissions, and proposal documentation ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
- Support in preparing clarifications and responses post-bid as needed.
- Organize and document prequalification processes including attendance and evaluations.
- Ensure adherence to safety and engineering standards throughout the proposal lifecycle.
Qualifications and Skillset
- Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Academic excellence with a keen interest in sales engineering, tendering processes, and managing proposals.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong analytical thinking and organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
- Basic knowledge of cost estimation and commercial principles related to engineering projects.
Learning and Development
- Gain hands-on experience in proposal creation and bid management.
- Work alongside seasoned proposal engineers to grasp customer-driven solution development.
- Experience aspects of commercial, technical, and project execution in engineering environments.
