Role Overview
As a Business Unit Performance Controller for Saudi Arabia, you will drive financial transparency, reporting, forecasting, performance analysis, and business steering for the Smart Infrastructure Business Unit. You will collaborate across functions and management levels to promote growth, efficiency, profitability, and digital transformation of financial controlling processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage performance controlling activities ensuring accurate financial transparency and forecasting for Siemens Smart Infrastructure Saudi Arabia.
- Provide detailed financial analysis and management reporting to facilitate data-informed decisions and strategic planning.
- Collaborate with internal departments and regional teams to identify growth opportunities and improve operational productivity and profitability.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, strategic planning, and set performance targets while fostering business ownership and forecast accuracy.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to business management, translating complex financial data into clear and actionable advice.
- Drive initiatives related to productivity, profitability, cash flow, margins, and growth targets.
- Identify, assess, and escalate business risks and opportunities along with mitigation strategies.
- Lead special projects and transformation initiatives to enhance operational and financial performance.
- Pioneer digital transformation and automation within controlling through advanced analytics, dashboards, AI-enabled solutions, and standardized reporting processes.
- Promote data governance, quality, process harmonization, and a data-driven culture while implementing automation that boosts efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with Siemens financial reporting standards, internal controls, governance, and risk management.
- Hold full responsibility for performance controlling in Saudi Arabia.
- Act as the primary finance liaison to Country Management, Regional Management, and Business Leadership.
- Drive controlling automation, digitalization, and continuous improvement across the organizational finance function.
- Combine roles of Performance Controller, Finance Business Partner, and Finance Transformation Leader to sustain business growth and enhance finance capabilities in Smart Infrastructure Buildings Saudi Arabia.
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum 8 years of experience in performance controlling, operations execution, finance business partnering, FP&A, or related business controlling roles.
- Deep knowledge of financial planning, forecasting, reporting, profitability management, and performance steering.
- Strong skills in business partnering and influencing senior stakeholders to aid strategic decisions.
- Experience utilizing digital tools and technologies to enhance controlling effectiveness and business intelligence.
- Proven track record implementing digitalization, automation, and finance transformation projects.
- Experience working in multinational and matrix organizational environments.
- Background in project, solutions, services, or technology-driven sectors is advantageous.
- Fluent English language proficiency; additional languages are a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
- Advanced professional certifications such as MBA, CMA, CIMA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent are preferred.
