Role Description

We are looking for a full-time Civil Engineer based on-site in Doha, Qatar. The incumbent will be responsible for managing the planning, design, and implementation of civil engineering works across construction and maintenance projects. Key duties include preparing and reviewing design documents, collaborating with project management, site supervision teams, and subcontractors, and tracking project timelines and budgets. The role requires performing site inspections, overseeing construction operations, addressing technical challenges, aiding stormwater management, conducting risk evaluations, enforcing quality and safety standards, and producing detailed technical documentation.

Qualifications and Skills

• Expertise in civil engineering design, including structural, infrastructure, and site layout development and review.
• Strong project planning and coordination skills to handle schedules, resource allocation, and deliverables across multiple projects.
• Capability in stormwater management, overseeing design and assessment of drainage and relevant infrastructure.
• Professional experience as a Civil Engineer involved in construction, infrastructure, or maintenance projects.
• Holder of a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field; professional certifications or registrations are advantageous.
• Familiarity with relevant codes, regulations, and standards governing civil construction in Qatar or the GCC.
• Proficient in engineering software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or equivalents, alongside strong technical reporting skills.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with an aptitude for effective teamwork in multicultural environments.
