Role Overview
We are seeking a Projects Manager to join our growing Services department based in Burnfoot, County Donegal. This hybrid role blends technical solution design, project coordination, client relations, and leadership responsibilities. You will oversee the complete lifecycle of non-contract service requests, delivering tailored technical solutions and quotations aligned with individual client operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical assistance for service-related sales inquiries, including defining customer requirements, project scoping, and solution crafting.
- Participate in pre-sales meetings and conduct site visits when necessary.
- Prepare bills of materials, labor cost estimations, and quotation documentation, ensuring technical accuracy prior to issuance.
- Collaborate closely with CAD, Production, and Project Delivery teams to guarantee project alignment.
- Support execution of non-contract projects by tracking schedules and margins, escalating issues as needed.
- Maintain quotation templates, pricing tools, and project management systems.
- Establish and nurture strong interdepartmental and stakeholder relationships.
Required Qualifications
- In-depth technical knowledge of Low Voltage (LV) Switchgear.
- Skilled at interpreting engineering technical drawings.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Strong organizational skills with the capacity to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Adept at managing multiple projects and deadlines concurrently.
- Proactive, self-driven approach to resolving problems.
- Collaborative nature paired with solid leadership competence.
- Readiness to travel when required.
Preferred Skills
- Prior experience in a service-oriented environment.
- Familiarity with Medium Voltage (MV) Switchgear.
Working Conditions
This role is predominantly office-based in Burnfoot with occasional travel to customer sites and other company locations. Collaboration occurs across Sales, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Services divisions throughout the EMEA region.
