Role Overview

The Projects Engineering Manager will hold a key leadership position reporting directly to the Head of Engineering. This role involves leading a team of engineers through all phases of project lifecycle, from feasibility studies to factory acceptance testing (FAT), site acceptance testing (SAT), operational qualification (OQ), and performance qualification (PQ). The manager will also spearhead process enhancements to ensure efficient plant operations.

Responsibilities

• Apply project management methodologies throughout project initiation to successful delivery.
• Tackle complex engineering challenges requiring deep technical expertise.
• Champion initiatives for efficiency, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Bring experience in designing high-speed robotic systems.
• Oversee multiple concurrent projects, managing priorities and resources to meet deadlines.
• Control departmental capital and overhead budgets, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within financial plans.
• Collaborate with various stakeholders such as consultants, customers, suppliers, and internal departments to guarantee project success.
• Lead, mentor, and develop engineering team members to foster a collaborative, innovative, and compliant culture.
• Coordinate complex project activities within the engineering team, ensuring accountability for deliverables to maximize safety, quality, cost-effectiveness, and operational efficiency.
• Enhance team capabilities by improving business understanding and technical skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering disciplines such as Mechanical, Electrical, Biomedical, or related fields.
• At least 8 years of professional experience in highly automated and regulated manufacturing environments.
• Proven experience supervising and managing technical engineering personnel.

• Comprehensive knowledge of automated manufacturing technologies and technical systems within pharmaceutical environments.
• Demonstrated leadership in project management and ability to lead cross-functional teams effectively.
• Capacity to make informed decisions balancing cost, compliance, quality, and productivity.
• Strong problem-solving aptitude combined with excellent organizational, analytical, and critical thinking skills, exercising sound judgment.
• Proficient IT skills, especially within Microsoft Office suite and MS Project; familiarity with facility management software like AutoCAD is advantageous.
• Excellent interpersonal and team collaboration abilities.
