Project QAQC Manager - Offshore

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project QA/QC Manager specializing in Offshore Oil & Gas projects to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise in quality assurance and quality control within the EPC sector, particularly related to offshore and onshore oil and gas, LNG, and petrochemical environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of Project Quality Plans (PQP), Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), and quality control procedures to ensure compliance with project and industry standards.
• Manage multidisciplinary QA/QC teams, coordinating efforts with clients, contractors, and third-party inspectors to maintain quality standards throughout project execution.
• Conduct quality audits, oversee non-conformance reports (NCRs), corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs), and spearhead continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure strict adherence to international codes and standards such as ASME, API, ASTM, AWS, ISO, and NACE during all phases of welding inspection, non-destructive testing (NDT), fabrication, piping, pressure vessel, and mechanical quality control activities.
• Maintain effective communication and address problem-solving requirements, aligning stakeholder expectations and project specifications.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (B.E. / B.Tech)
• At least 15 years of hands-on QA/QC experience within EPC Oil & Gas projects, with a strong focus on offshore facilities.
• Minimum of 5 years in a QA/QC leadership role, managing teams and quality assurance processes.

Mandatory Certifications

• CSWIP 3.2.1 or 3.2.2 certification for Senior Welding Inspector
• ASNT/PCN Level II certifications in Radiographic Testing (RT), Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Magnetic Particle Testing (MT/MPI), and Penetrant Testing (PT)
• ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor Certification
