Estimation Engineer Mechanical Proposals

About the Role

We are looking for a seasoned Estimation Engineer specialized in Mechanical works to join our team at Doha Petroleum Construction Co. W.L.L. This permanent position is based in Doha, Qatar, welcoming candidates with extensive experience in the Oil & Gas EPC/EPCI/EPIC sector, particularly in tendering and proposal preparation.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver precise cost estimates for mechanical and piping works aligned with project and tender requirements.
• Estimate resources encompassing manpower, equipment, and materials necessary for project execution.
• Analyze and prepare competitive cost proposals for offshore, onshore greenfield, and brownfield projects.

Experience and Expertise

• Minimum 15 years of comprehensive experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
• Substantial 7 to 10 years of focus on proposal and estimation tasks within EPC/EPCI/EPIC projects.
• Strong background in brownfield projects with a preference for candidates having offshore project experience.
• Thorough understanding of cost components associated with mechanical and piping disciplines.

Required Skills and Knowledge

• Advanced familiarity with Oil & Gas EPC/EPCI/EPIC tender processes and documentation.
• Hands-on estimation capabilities for offshore, onshore greenfield, and brownfield mechanical/piping projects.
• Competency in accurately mapping resource demands including manpower, equipment, and materials to project needs.
