- Conduct regular critical path analyses, float management, and schedule risk assessments, including Monte Carlo simulations, to anticipate and mitigate potential bottlenecks.
- Coordinate scheduling activities among multiple business units across different geographic locations, acting as the main interface for planning between three separate entities in diverse time zones and cultures.
- Integrate various sub-project schedules and progress reports from international partners into a unified master schedule.
- Lead weekly and monthly cross-border meetings to align all stakeholders on interdependencies and upcoming milestones.
- Apply Earned Value Management (EVM) techniques to track and quantify project performance using metrics like CPI, SPI, SV, and CV.
- Establish and enforce consistent progress measurement standards across entities to ensure reliable data and objective reporting.
- Produce executive-level reports, including dashboards, S-curves, and variance analyses, for leadership and joint venture boards.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Possess a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical discipline.
- Expertise in using Primavera P6 (both EPPM and PPM versions) is essential; familiarity with MS Project, advanced Excel (macros/VBA), and data visualization platforms such as Power BI or Tableau is highly valued.
- Have over 5 years of experience in planning and scheduling for large-scale projects exceeding $100 million in sectors like infrastructure, oil and gas, mining, or civil engineering.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively within joint ventures, consortia, or complex matrix organizations that operate across multiple countries.
- Excellent English communication skills—both written and verbal—with a strong capacity to negotiate and influence stakeholders managing competing priorities.
- Strong analytical mindset capable of identifying patterns, outliers, and potential schedule risks within extensive datasets.
Preferred Certifications
- Certifications such as PMI Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP) or Project Management Professional (PMP) are advantageous but not mandatory.
