Role Description

• Lead complex projects and programs, serving as the key point of contact with clients.
• Build effective working relationships, resolve issues, and ensure projects reach successful completion.
• Manage the design process to align with client requirements and expectations.
• Review project plans, specifications, schedules, cost-saving opportunities, and identify construction challenges.
• Oversee project safety and environmental compliance.
• Handle scheduling, risk management, and project reporting.
• Manage budgets and provide guidance on maintaining financial control.
• Participate in marketing and business development activities.
• Coordinate vendor scopes with the overall project delivery objectives.
• Execute contract documentation adhering strictly to legal standards and collaborate closely with project teams for effective document management.
• Exhibit strong communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution capabilities.

Qualifications & Experience

• Deep technical knowledge of Data Centre infrastructure, including HVAC, electrical systems, generators, fire protection, security, and building management systems.
• Hold a professional or tertiary qualification in project management, engineering, or construction.
• Possess between 5 to 10 years of project management experience, ideally within data centres or similar technical domains.
• Comprehensive understanding of the complete project lifecycle from initiation, design, securing approvals, to construction completion and post-project evaluation.
• Excellent familiarity with key project management concepts, tools, and techniques.
• Ability to perform well in high-pressure, fast-paced settings.
• Proficient with advanced Microsoft Office tools; experience with Primavera is highly desirable.
• Strong written and verbal English skills, with adeptness in report and bid writing.
• Highly driven and motivated with a strong commitment to client delivery.
