Program Manager

About the Role

ConsultANZ is looking for a seasoned Programme Manager to join a major infrastructure organisation based in Wellington, New Zealand. This role is embedded within a project controls department dedicated to large civil infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and upkeep of project programmes and schedules related to infrastructure projects.
• Monitor project milestones and update timelines consistently.
• Support the management and reporting of earned value metrics.
• Facilitate schedule risk analysis and deliver forecast updates.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure plans remain precise and current.
• Contribute to 4D planning initiatives and coordination efforts.

Candidate Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a comparable discipline.
• Demonstrable experience in project planning and scheduling.
• Previous engagement with infrastructure or significant-scale projects.
• Competency in using Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and Power BI.
• Solid understanding of Earned Value Management (EVM) and Schedule Risk Analysis (SRA).
• Familiarity with 4D planning software, for example Synchro 4D or Asta.
• Strong communication abilities along with analytical thinking.
